Dermatoscopy
Dermatoscopy is a diagnostic technique used to evaluate skin lesions, particularly moles, for the early detection of melanoma and other types of skin cancer. It uses a special instrument called a dermatoscope that illuminates and magnifies the image of the skin lesion, allowing for an accurate assessment of the pigmented and vascular structures beneath the skin’s surface.

- Newborn, infantile, child, and adolescent acne – although acne is more often associated with puberty, it can also occur in infants and younger children.
- Fungal and parasitic infections – such as scabies or ringworm, which are easily transmitted in environments such as kindergartens or schools.
