What does the visit look like?
A visit to an andrologist includes an interview, physical examination, hormonal diagnostics and ultrasound of the scrotum and prostate. For a complete diagnosis, semen analysis and genetic tests are often recommended.

Hormone therapies
In the case of testosterone deficiency, we offer individually selected pharmacotherapy (TST – testosterone replacement therapy).
Treatment is carried out under the strict supervision of an andrologist and includes regular checks of hormone levels and assessment of clinical effects – improvement of well-being, libido, vital energy and metabolic parameters.
Pharmacological and surgical treatment
Depending on the cause, we use modern oral medications, injections or supportive therapies to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). We also surgically treat varicocele, thus improving fertility.
In Peyronie’s disease, we offer pharmacotherapy and surgical penile plasty, reducing pain and curvature. All therapies are selected individually, with the patient’s effectiveness and comfort in mind.
What does a visit to an andrologist look like?
Medical history and symptom analysis
During the first visit, the andrologist conducts a detailed medical history. He or she talks to the patient about lifestyle, medical history, sexual activity and symptoms that may indicate hormonal disorders or fertility problems. The collected information allows for a better adjustment of the further diagnostic plan.
Physical examination and diagnostic imaging
The visit also includes a physical examination of the genitals – testicles, scrotum and penis. If necessary, the doctor performs an ultrasound of the scrotum or prostate. Depending on the problem, an andrologist may also order semen tests, hormone levels or infection tests.

1. What is the phimosis treatment procedure?
Treatment of phimosis most often involves plastic surgery of the foreskin or its partial removal if the narrowing prevents its free exposure. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes about 30 minutes. At Life Medical Center, we use modern, minimally invasive techniques that shorten the recovery time and ensure a quick return to daily activities.
2. Is circumcision only for religious reasons?
No – circumcision can be performed for both religious or cultural reasons, as well as medical reasons, e.g. in the case of recurrent inflammation, phimosis or hygiene problems. At Life Medical Center, circumcision is performed in comfortable conditions, with the highest safety standards. The result is improved intimate health and often increased comfort of sex life.
3. Do you have to save yourself for a long time after circumcision?
Recovery after circumcision usually lasts from 7 to 14 days. During the first days, it is recommended to limit physical exertion and avoid irritation of the operated site. A return to sexual intercourse is usually possible after about 4-6 weeks, depending on the individual healing rate. The patient receives detailed recommendations for hygiene and postoperative check-ups.
4. Who is testosterone replacement therapy for?
TRT is intended for men with confirmed testosterone deficiency, manifested by, m.in others, a decrease in libido, fatigue, mood disorders or erection difficulties. At Life Medical Center, the therapy is preceded by detailed hormonal diagnostics. Treatment is carried out under the strict supervision of an andrologist, with regular monitoring of the results.
5. What does TRT look like – is it just injections?
Testosterone replacement therapy can be carried out with intramuscular injections, transdermal gels or implants. The choice of form depends on the patient’s preferences, test results and lifestyle. At Life Medical Center, each form of therapy is tailored individually and conducted in accordance with current medical standards.
6. Does testosterone replacement therapy affect fertility?
Yes – testosterone therapy can temporarily reduce sperm production and temporarily affect fertility. Therefore, before starting TRT, the doctor thoroughly discusses with the patient his plans to have children. In some cases, supportive treatment is used to protect reproductive function.
7. What is the vasectomy procedure?
Vasectomy is a microsurgical procedure of cutting and ligating the vas deferens, leading to a permanent interruption of the sperm path. The procedure takes about 20-30 minutes, is performed under local anesthesia and does not require hospitalization. At Life Medical Center, we also use the no-scalpel method, which minimizes discomfort and shortens healing time.
8. Does vasectomy affect sex life?
Vasectomy does not affect testosterone levels, libido, or sexual function. The man retains full sexual performance and ejaculation looks the same, although it does not contain sperm. The procedure does not cause erectile dysfunction or orgasmic sensations.
9. Is vasectomy reversible?
Vasectomy is treated as a permanent procedure, although there are methods of surgical reversal (recanalization), which are not always effective. Therefore, before making a decision, the patient undergoes a detailed consultation and signs informed consent. 10. Do I need to have any check-ups after the vasectomy?
Yes – about 8-12 weeks after the procedure, a semen analysis should be performed to confirm the lack of sperm in the ejaculate.
