Diagnostics

Computed tomography
Computed tomography (CT) is one of the basic diagnostic instruments in neurology. The examination involves obtaining a series of X-rays of the head using a special computer scanner. CT can obtain cross-sectional images of the brain and anatomical structures, which allows doctors to assess the patient’s condition and diagnose various neurological conditions.
Magnetic resonance imaging
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in neurology involves creating detailed images of the anatomical and functional structures of the brain and other parts of the nervous system. MRI can be used to diagnose many neurological conditions, such as nervous system diseases, brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and epilepsy. In addition to diagnosis, MRI can also be used to monitor disease progression, plan treatment, or assess the effectiveness of therapy. The test is completely safe and non-invasive.

Electroencephalography
(EEG)
The EEG test is widely used in neurology to diagnose various brain disorders such as epilepsy, post-traumatic states of consciousness, migraine, blackouts, insomnia, neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease), and other neurological diseases. The results of the EEG test allow doctors to assess the electrical activity of the brain, detect abnormalities in brain waves and identify possible pathologies. EEG can also help determine the type of seizures, monitor the effectiveness of therapy, and detect potential epileptic foci.
PET-CT emission tomography
PET-CT emission tomography in neurology is used to assess brain function and metabolism. It involves combining two medical imaging techniques: positron emission tomography (PET) and computed tomography (CT). PET-CT in neurology can assess a wide variety of conditions and conditions, such as brain tumors, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases, Parkinson’s disease.
